Follow 92-year-old former nightclub dancer Coby Yee as she decides to get back on stage alongside senior dance troupe, the Grant Avenue Follies. Together they go on tour for the last time, connecting once isolated Chinese communities across the US, Cuba and China. Winning Best Feature and Audience Choice Award at the 2025 MINT Chinese Film Festival, Chinatown Cha-Cha explores the rich history of San Francisco’s Chinese-American entertainment scene, and delves into the lives of these vibrant performers, both on and off the stage.
